Appendix IWB Holster ComparisonUpdated 8 months ago
We offer 3 styles of Appendix IWB holsters, each with their own unique features.
Photon Holster can be worn IWB, AIWB or OWB with the parts included. AIWB offers adjustable cant, ride height and retention along with an optional claw. It can accommodate some lights. The Photon shell covers both sides of the firearm. It does not have a backing material.
ShapeShift Appendix IWB holsters are a hybrid, where the shell covers the trigger guard from both sides but mounts to the CoolVent neoprene backing. It does not support lights due to the design of the retention device. The belt clip provides a neutral cant and a ride height that works for most firearms and preferences but is not adjustable.
The Grip Tuck Universal Holster looks like a traditional soft pocket universal holster at first glance. It does have a TPE reinforced lining to protect the trigger guard from outside forces. The outer layer is a grippy material, so the holster stays in place and provides a fair amount of comfort. The center mount toolless clip provides ride height adjustment and locks in at almost any cant. The holster comes in a variety of barrel lengths, stack sizes and a trigger guard laser or light option providing the most firearm accommodation. It does not have an adjustable retention, as the holster will break in around the firearm.
