Certain states have specific laws that regulate how sweepstakes and giveaways must be run, and these requirements determine where we are able to offer participation. Many states require detailed disclosures, registration, or approval before a sweepstake can be offered. For example, Florida, New York, and Rhode Island require full public disclosure of winners, including their addresses. Other states require sweepstakes to be registered weeks or even months in advance.

If we are unable to meet a state’s registration or timing requirements, we legally cannot offer the sweepstake in that location. Our goal is never to exclude anyone; however, as a smaller company, we must comply with all state regulations to avoid violating those laws.
